The zelico project team expanded. We welcome our new teammember coeps, who will join us in developping and modifying new virtual appliances. We are glad to see that the zelico project is growing and we think that our vision of a complete open source enterprise it environment will reach enterprises in production environments soon. Everyone who uses the appliances of the zelico project please tell us about your projects. We want to publish your projects with zelico virtual appliances on www.zelico.org. The next zelico relaese 0.6.9 is available for download in the next view days. The upload started right now. So what is shipped with this new exciting relaese? First, we included a mail and groupware suite called zimbra. We took advantage of the scalable architecture and installed separate servers for MTA and storage. The newest version (6.0.1) of the zimbra open source edition is available in the zelico it-environment. Second, the top open source erp solution was integrated into this new release. Take a look at the OpenBravo erp solution - just a view key facts:
- - sourceforge rank 1 for business software
- - over 1.000.000 downloads at sourceforge
- - covers more business processes than some expensive erp suites
Third, we packed a business process management suite - ProcessMaker - into the 0.6.9 release. This software has the power to connect the different systems openbravo, zimbra and knowledgetree to form a business process with one gui. Things are getting worse for other software companies.
